Hey just write however you need to, I while preferring long chapters, can deal with short chapterlets. It lets people know it is not abandoned and keeps up interest. Also don't call it writers Block, Think of it more like a writers stumble, where ya hop around for a bit and wave your arms humorously in the air, then regain your balance and go on with the fic.
