What is the difference between two independent samples hypothesis testing and two related samples hypothesis testing? Give one real world example of each.

Two independent hypothesis testing would be two educated guesses that have nothing in common for example:
solubility of salt in water vs. speed of light in a vacuum
Two related hypothesis testing would be two educated guesses that have something to do with each other for example:
solubility of salt in water, hot vs. cold.
