Well, Happy New Year to everyone. My cousin's new house had a beautiful view of the Muggle fireworks and no doubt Hogwarts had the usual display, most likely Fred and George were involved somehow

...There are a lot more fireworks than last year, actually. The twins really went all out. I'm sorry you couldn't be here to see them, Hermione, but I do hope you're alright.

Happy New Year, 'Mione darling. Glad you're having fun with the Muggles. Hope your cousin doesn't drive you too mad. Of course we sent some fireworks over to the castle. Actually managed to magic them with a couple of drinks in us.
