I offered a bucket list this year. Nothing with a big canon, so I can get up to speed if needs be, but with a wider net than usual. I haven't written any fanfic in a long while, so I'm looking forward to it.
I went through the list today (quiet day at work). My favorite fandoms, tied, are The battle of Tollense River and Languages. I am so intrigued by the idea of such a massive battle - it must have been sung of for centuries, even if all the songs are now lost -- and really want a story about English trying to mug Russian for words and Russian mugging it back and both languages flopping down on the ground laughing and groaning and sharing vocabulary. Do I want to request it? Write it? I dunno yet!
