My current excuse: I blame Te.

Gotham Adventures #16, aka The One About Alfred. As this is getting a bit too repetitive [1. Read issue... 2. Squee... 3. Post... 4. Repeat...], I'll try and be a bit more explicit about why, exactly, this is such a hugely awesome series, using as an example this issue.

Or, you know, I might just squee a lot. We'll see. )

Also... man. I just keep wanting to send more and more letters of adoration to Ty Templeton, but I've already sent two, and any more would be... um... stalkery. GOD THIS TITLE RULES SO MUCH.

And you KNOW I loved Alfred with the smack-up. WOOT.

*Batman* asks somebody if he felt offended by his tactical choice. WATCH ALL SPACETIME IMPLODE.

I hurt myself laughing. ::still laughing:: I love this fandom so much.

Really? Hm. What OS are you using? Because if your computer won't run CDdisplay, you can rename the files to .zip and .rar and just view them in an image-viewing program of some sort.
No one should be bereft of Gotham Adventures.

Dude, I can't *find* the cbr's! Torrents have failed me! Damn me and my 'I'm not buying the toon tie-in comics, they won't have the voices' policy! (Seriously, I crush on Kevin Conroy's voice. Just the voice. I've seen pictures of the man and, um, no. But the *voice*.)

*sobs*

*a lot*

Hey, I just went to SF to see if my viewer had been updated (which is has, yay!) and it turns out that it's multi-platform. Comical is a nice piece of freeware and I'm much happier with it than I was with the paid program I had been using (Book View is for Macs and, while nifty, has some definite hiccups -- you can't switch between it and other programs *and* you have to unzip the files to view them, which is time consuming).

So if you want to try for the cbr/cbz format, Comical is *definitely* a good way to go.
