oh, how i feel this post! i should've done SO MUCH MORE while i was here.
i feel like i didn't make the most of my "college experience."

didn't do any clubs, didn't intern, didn't study abroad, blah blah blah.

and all during last semester, all i could think was how much i love college and how i'd do it differently if i could go back.

but hey...no use getting all bogged down with regret.
chicago will probably be amazing. do you have a job lined up there, or are you just going on an adventure?

Exactly...no clubs, interning, or studying abroad for me either. Haven't these past four years gone by so fast???

Yeah, I'm trying really hard right now to just think positively and focus on my excitement about Chicago.

I don't have a job lined up there yet, but that's something that's in the works right now. I do have a safety net - a really great temp agency that let me work for them for the short time I was in Chicago over the break.
There are so many great opportunities up there in the social work realm, so I'm sure to find something I feel passtionate about doing.

i just applied for a job as a college adviser. i'd be a university employee, and i'd be placed in a high school where not many kids apply to college...i'd just be there to encourage every student to apply and to spend lots of time with them, helping them figure out SATs, essays, financial aid, etc.

if i don't get that job...haha, it's just more starbucks.

So stoked.

Carson has a bike, but it's an oldschool Diamondback BMX bike he bought last summer. I'm not sure why he bought it, because it's not really something one can ride for long distances without a serious backache.
