i ordered books from the barnes and nobleee yay!!

in case you are curious, i got:

- enduring love by ian mcewan (because kate reads him and because it sounds interesting)
- harvesting the heart by jodi picoult
- complications: a surgeon's notes on an imperfect science by atul gawande (we read an essay by him in english and he was a very good ( Read more... )

i adore gawande and complications is fantastic.

in terms of ian mcewan--i haven't read enduring love, but when you finish it you should read saturday. it's an awesome book and i liked it more than atonement (which is what he's the most well known for). anyway, hope you enjoy your books!

have you read gawande's new book? it just came out a little bit ago. i want to, but it's in hardcover, which i loathe. maybe i'll get it from the liberry.

My friend is a BIG Jodi Picoult fan and I just got "My Sister's Keeper" by her to read between semesters. :) I've heard good things about Ian McEwan, too, but I didn't know Kate read him. LOL, somehow, that really makes me want to read something by him now.

Charmed Thirds is already out! I read it and I liked it. Unless you mean paperback. I prefer paperback because it's cheaper, but I bought that one in hardcover. I've never read anything by Jodi Picolt, but I wanna read her new one, Nineteen Minutes, and Amazon has a deal that if you order it with a certain other book you get a good deal and I want the other book too so I may order them both, hehe! Online shopping is great! :)

well, i meant on paperback. i haaaate reading things on hardcover. hatehate. i wanna read the new jodi one, too, but it's still hardcover. whines. :(
