North Carolina has some of the bestest southern schools! If you're applying to UNCA, Appalachian would be another good mountain school. And there are some great schools around where I live and at the beach too. :) If you have any questions about a school, I'll see what I can tell you. :D

If it's not too much to ask, can you help me a little bit? I know that I can go to websites and read about the schools, but I think it's different when you hear it from a local, because they know all of the reputations and such.

What schools do you think would be the best? (In SC, too, if you know any.) I like the atmosphere of UNCA, but I know my grades aren't good enough to get into Chapel Hill. I don't mind mountains or beach, just not in a city too small. And I'm going for biology/pre-med. If you could help, that would be so great. :)
