Massive batch if I do say so myself. I should be totally forgiven for this 4 month icon drought! 8D They are mostly Kangta, Uverworld, Spring Waltz, Full Metal Alchemist and Ouran Koukou Host Club. Experimental as usual for some, so expect lots of variations ( Read more... )

These are gorgeous! I love the colour. Taking a bunch of the OKHC, thanks! (And I hope no one else has pointed this out, but on 156 and 158 it should say 'akuma' not 'akuna'. Apologies if my eyesight is bad and it does say 'akuma'. >>;;; Just thought you might like to know. ^^;)

Um.. actually, now that you mentioned it, it does look like Akuna. But I checked my PSD file, and it's really just the font I used. ^^;; In anyway, thanks for pointing that out to me. :)

It's actually a variation of the Aged Plum tutorial.

For the non-anime ones, I played around with the opacity of the color layers quite a bit and added a few dark blue layers (difference/screen). Also, instead of having my base layer on softlight, I used color burn @ 5-20% and for the monochrome base layer I used Hue, Overlay, Color burn @ 5-20%.

I might have added a brownish layer to give it a more brownish feel. Or occasionally, I might have deleted the dark green and one of the pink layers.
