I love how he mentions money then talks about beatniks when the whole concept of beatnik was to cancel out the money. The biggest, best and richest beatniks were still dirt poor. The term beatnik was actually formed from beat, as in lazy, no good. iyiy muchacha.

hah, nice attempt at quick judgement and contradiction, but im pretty sure while i would do it for nothing, and even pay my own time and money, other people wont, so you have to offer other people incentive as well.

"On the Road" is merely one of the many books Jack Kerouac wrote that is by no way by definition what a beatnik really was. Try Allen Ginsberg, he was one of the four most famous that really pushed the term beatnik and developed what it meant. I was in no way referencing On the Road and as awkward as it is to have learmed, I'm glad to know you've read it.

wtf your first is columbia!!!! mine...isn't. BUT IT WOULD BE if columbia's school of journalism weren't for graduates only. i may want to go to columbia for graduate school. norhtwestern...and the medill school of journalism...is my top choice. second to columbia and ahhhhh so great.

that's pretty crazy how closely are dream schools align.
