Check out interdictor, who's keeping his corner of NOLA going and reporting on what's going on. He periodically sends up paeans of support to you guys over there (he's a former soldier himself.)

And on that score...you guys stay as safe as possible over there.

Yeah, I was watching the news, and crying. This is one of the sadest/scariest things I've seen. The selfish part of me is so glad it didn't hit central Florida where I have family.
