    Gee, information suggesting a strong link between putting children and teens on anti-depressants and their likelihood of attempting and succeeding at suicide finally become public. Effexor is some of the nastiest shit I think I've ever taken for my "depression." It was either then or when I was on the Wellbutrin/Lexapro combo that I was at my worst. Possibly those two occassions tied for worst.

I was listening to NPR this morning about this subject and unfortunately I drove out of range and didn't hear the end. Thanks for posting the link. As you know this is a subject near and dear to me.

This kind of thing doesn't surprise me either. Many parents seem too lazy to do their job and the easy solution is to drug them then actually BE a fucking parent and take control.

I've been taking Effexor for about four years now for anxiety attacks and have found it to be remarkably effective for that. It sure beats the hell out of Paxil.
