today my parents took me bed shopping!!!

it took us about 5 hours and at least as many stores, but by next saturday i will have a fancy new queen sized bed, with the most comfortable mattress ever. and my quilt set is purple. PURPLE. yay!

hmm. i think i also broke my toe.

how good is bed shopping! you "just have to" flop onto all of the bed & see which is the comfiest!

also--i just moved to australia & didn't have a bed or money for a bed so i saw these mattresses in the parking lot of a hotel & asked if i could have one and it's against the law to resell mattresses so they sold me the base for $50 and gave me a good-brand mattress. woo! so i officially sleep on an old hotel bed..awesome and yet..weird hah
