Dude, fuck all that stuff. I'd be thrilled to have the grades you have and the smartness you have. It may not be good enough for your parents, but it would be good enough for you, and if it's good enough for you, fuck what everyone else says. Believe me Melissa, you aren't the only one without someone. Besides, it's not like you're going to find the guy you are going to spend the rest of your life with at Hamilton...hardly! You should know you can be yourself around me! Like I'd be one to judge anything. Family and house stuff sucks, but your parents have got to be like that...it's like some unwritten rule. I don't think there is anything wrong with the way you look! I know that may not be that comforting coming from me, but hell, I don't think there is a damn thing wrong with the way you look. That's all probably not too comforting, but hell, I try :P
