Thursday evening

Since there is to be no snogging with Not!Draco, Lily is in the living room of her suite, playing with Lane's kitten. The cute little thing loves to chase at sparks and smoke shapes easily conjured from Lily's wand. The door is open, which is rather pointless, since theirs is the only occupied room on the fifth floor anyway.

Jonathan hopes Lily doesn't mind him dropping by like this, but Tara said she was free tonight and he's pretty sure Lily wanted to meet her.

"Knock knock," he syas from the doorway.

Lily looks up from where the kitten is chasing a smoke!butterfly, and smiles broadly when she sees Jonathan in the doorway. "Hello! Come on in!"

Jonathan enters the room and leans against the wall next to the door.

"So," he says, "how attached are you to this whole, playing with the cat tonight thing? Beause if you're interested I might have plans for us."

"Not attached at all," she says, sounding relieved. "And definitely interested." Lily stands, scoops up the kitten, and deposits him in Lane's bedroom, securing the door.

"I guess I never realized how much free time I would have without Draco... Anyway, plans?"
