Just watched Let the Right One In. While I don't have Chud's gushing praise, the movie does work on quite a few levels, and has a pretty refreshing amount of ambiguity in it (quite a bit dealing with certain characters motivations, and true potentials). Not to mention the "innocence" aspects of it which make it all the more disturbing on some

Not yet, but I suspect that it might clear up some of the ambiguity of certain scenes (of course, like I said, said ambiguity makes some of them all the creepier, since one of two things is going on in them).

So in the book, what was the deal w/ Dad's friend? In the movie, it just got REALLY weird when he showed up.
