uh, yeah, i guess so. i just thought i'd write something down in my journal and people could wonder about it. and i just started writing.

maybe i should give it a beginning and an end sometime.

and i don't mean to be a reply comment snoop but you mentioned the great gatsby and you having read it.. i swear (not the cuss kind) that i told you to read that many months ago. i hope i had something to do with that, if only a very small something, because i love passing that book along the line of people i love.

maybe i will. however, i need to think of a name for my character, only known as "he". and after that, it's all plain sailing.

and of course it was to do with you, silly. i've been looking for it forever, and i found a cheap copy, so i got it. and read it, and then read it again. thanks.

I might as well just put my pen down forever. I really like this. The attention to detail within the imagery is amazing.
How did the old short story go? You never sent me any of it...

the old short story might well have made way for this new attempt. i might dig it out one day, though. i just wrote some more, if you care to cast an eye over it.
