When I do dream, I like to really analyze elements of it and see how my interpretation may affect the outcome of the upcoming day or weeks. This morning, I have to say I'm at a total loss. The regular visitor is absent. No mystical objects or metaphor. Instead:

I jogged around in circles with an elephant.

A little help here, please?

I once heard the elephants stand for memory (ies) or something? Maybe you are dwelling with the past, but enjoying it or something?

Or maybe you are over the past, and so you are dancing with excitement around it.

Hmm, or maybe you just like elephants.

Was its trunk facing a window? Because I hear that's good luck...
Or maybe you just really like elephants (secretly, sub-consciously)

Elephant - Sheer strength and power, or elegant strength. Strong presence. Royal.
Dreaming of this animal can represent:
Having too much of one of these qualities, or that you could benefit by being less this way
Not having enough of one of these qualities, or that you could benefit by being more like this
Someone or something in your real life with whom you associate one of these qualities (an event, situation, threat, etc.)

Going In Circles - Traveling in circles (such as running or driving in circles) can represent the idea of making no progress, randomness, chaos, lack of direction or feeling lost.

If we want to tie these together, it could mean that you are making no progress due to the fact that you are stubborn and stuck in your ways, or else that you are making no progress due to someone else being firm in their ideas and unwilling to move.

Or maybe you just want to be an elephant. One can't be sure.
