This is so sad. I've heard about cases like this, and it's suuuuper sad that things like that can happen. I don't know much about adoption contracts, so I'm wondering if you can have all the legal documents signed ahead of time. Not sure about that. Very well written entry.

Such a disappointment for the couple but there is always that chance with using a surrogate.
