This is a really, really well written entry! Before I was in the competition, these wistful, semi-autobiographical entries that were a bit scant on actual details, were, unfortunately, the very ones that I mentioned I would sometimes skip over (I'm sorry). Now that I'm in the competition with you, and reading what everyone else comes up with too, I'm actually bowled over at the talent and the sweet, unique voice that you express. That sweet comment just made my day. I sometimes feel like a bit of a fraud. But I really like the way I write and hope it is unique. I'm not the most vulnerable person but manage to be so when I write. Plus, the cryptic, long sentenced descriptive rambling is exactly the kind of writing I adore reading. Lol. Thanks again, luv. You are a spot of sunshine today.
