I've decided that I don't want to be a teacher anymore. Well, actually, it's more like I can't be one. Don't get me wrong: I love teaching, but I can't be a teacher. Why? Well ...

That's so funny, I did a complete switch the other way.
Bye bye medical school, hello ESL teacher! XD

I said goodbye to medical school when I realized what the priorities in my life were, so mine are for purely selfish reasons. I think being a doctor is a way of life more than anything else, and as much as I wanted to rach my goal, I know that my career will never be number one in my life and I just won't be able to give what is required of me.

That being said, I know I'll never make a lot of money being an ESL teacher, and that makes me sad because I've always tended to associate success with monetary wealth, but I know I'll love waking up every day, and I'll get to spend more time with my children than if I ended up being a psychiatrist. So I think I'll end up happier in the end. Hopefully, anyway!

It's amazing how your goals change in life though, huh?
