Already I have been referred to a counsellor and it's only the first term. I have been drawing messy black biro hearts, and, I want your serenity.

p.s is it really that odd to listen to The Snow Queen on tape a lot..

It doesn't seem particularly odd to me, for some reason...

Thank you for adding me; your journal is very pretty. I abandoned LJ-ing a while ago, a familiar story: self-consciousness distorting the "truth" of my entries as a spiralling web of friends/acquaintances discovered it; snow_queenie has been used since then as a private place where I record in (un-digestibly bleak) detail a melancholic and anxiety-flecked analysis of my life. (A kind of therapy of sorts, not particularly poetic reading.) I shall add you back anyway, for reading purposes, and perhaps I shall make some of my older/future entries visible at some point...

Oh, and Exmouth: I once had a friend who lived there and I have hazy memories of a visit I made in late '99: we ended up in strange, dire Exeter club in a cloud of excess glitter and clutching fairy wands; the whole adventure fuelled by vodka-milkshake. Things aren't that fun anymore, sadly.

such a wonderful quote..

you're the only person I've wanted to add so far, your profile was very intruiging/lovely/familiar.. thanks for adding me back anyway..

excess glitter, fairy wands and vodka-milkshake - always a good thing.. although yes, the clubs around here are pretty awful. apart from exeter cavern, which I completely adore and visit weekly.. I just wish I'd found more people similar to me, because everyone is great here but there is no-one I truly/completely relate to..

I must go.. we have a tedious meeting in our house about something or other. xx

May I ask, where did you get your Snow Queen tape? My friend wants it but I haven't found it yet... though I have only looked on ebay. You remind me of her as you seem lovely and write like her a bit.

i know this is a terribly late reply but
having just discovered

i think ebay would be best,
mine is from childhood and
dusty, splintered-edged plastic case.

memory.

good luck,
occasionally i see story-records
in charity shops, never
the snow queen
yet..

the sleeping beauty, i might have to go back and buy
soon, this week, in case anyone else steals it away..
