i figured i should start waking up earlier each morning to be prepared for school on tuesdayyy. i don't understand why they did freshman orientation today as opposed to monday, doesn't make sense. watching all the news reports and coverage on the hurricane/new orleans is really depressing, especially seeing people standing on their rooftops waiting

i've been trying for two weeks to start waking up earlier. but i'm on a totally different schedule. i got to sleep at 4 a.m. and then i wake up at 6 p.m. haha. so it's gonna be a fucking bitch come tuesday.
yeah that whole hurricane thing is so sad. i saw this one guy talking about how his wife couldn't swim and he was holding her hand and and she was saying "take care of the kids" "i love you" etc. and then she slipped away and i guess drowned. so when reporters were interviewing him while he was hysterically crying, he told them about his wife and they asked "what are your plans now?", and he said "i don't have anything. i don't even have a reason to live."
