This is great! I love the bit when Cloud burst out about Aerith leaving him. I've always wondered if he ever blamed her instead of himself, and you played this out so nicely!
It's a marvel how you manage to keep them so in-character without being overtly, unbelievably mushy. &hearts Am a big fan!

As usual, I like it--rather angsty. I have to ask though--do you believe that Aerith knew she was going to die, or simply that she knew the planet would take precedence before her feelings? I lean more towards the latter, but I want to hear your thoughts on it.

I agree with you on that. I mean, they must of all thought "hey, I could die any time now," but probably shrugged it off as the kind of thing they feared but never really expected, if that makes sense. Aerith especially; I think she honestly did believe she was going to be able to come back to Cloud and the others, and she was probably as shocked as the rest of us when she realised there was a sword sticking through her stomach. ;P

Heh, and the manifesto's coming along surprising well, seeing as I am completely useless at these kind of things. I have about 3000 words of notes, so I just need to sort those out and make it look... pretty.
