So, I switched insurance companies recently. I used to be with group health, and am now with United health care. After my surgery the ostomy nurse handed me group health's number so that I could order bags on my own and that is what I have done. Just when I thought that I was done
First I want to thankimake1tgirl for all the updates while I was in the hospital. This was one of my shorter stays, I was only in for a day.
When they checked me in they were worried about three things.
1.Kidney Stone/infection
2. pocket of fluid in my abdomin
3. possible problems with major vanes going to my liver

Much needed update
Life is pretty good all things considered. Work is really slow, but I'm working on expanding my private client base to compensate. Eventually I want it to turn into a full time gig. ibakeit4u is going to make me a kick ass website and I'm buying business cards tomorrow.

The week from hell...
This week I ended up working 41/2 days, house sitting, and I did a parade with my color guard girls on Saturday.
I totally overdid it. On top of it all I had the stomach flu all week. Not to say that I didn't have fun, but that seems to be my problem. I push myself to far and all I think about is the fun I had and I put out of my mind the fact that ( Read more... ) -

Yesterday was a pretty good day, I got out of the house and was able to spend the day with heresyoftruth and catholicsin . It was my first day out since the surgery and I think that I did well.
The real reason for my outing was that I needed heresyoftruth to take out 4 staples that the dumb-ass nurse left. The staples had curves on the end. This eluded the hospital nurse who simply ( Read more... ) -

New automated litter box and my cat the Sith Apprentice
So since I'm going in for surgery next week and wont be able to change the litter box, I decided to be kind to my housemates(who offered to take care of it for me) and buy one of those Littermaid self-cleaning litter boxes. Midget my youngest cat took to it right away, no problem within 5 minutes of it being on she had staked her claim on the box. ( Read more... ) -

I have soooo much time on my hands now(heh heh) that I found myself reading through heresyoftruth 's luckyism's.
I should preface this with the following: He runs a game for the two of us and a couple of others and one of his NPC's is crazy, like off the wall makes no since most of the time nuts.
