The play was based off the movie, but it wasn't exactly the movie set on stage. It borrowed rather heavily from the books as well. I had never heard of this theatre before (Tis very tiny) but when I saw the advertising for this play, I could not resist. John Faustus(David Flores), Martin Luther (Robert W.C. I have not read the book or seen the movie or any other stage version of this play. I knew that it was a more serious story that dealt with racism.
