Yes, you are right, Takaya hypnotized himself a couple of times. Once before he was "born" as Takaya, once again when Naoe died.

Ya,..in fact there is a ref that he did it before on Nobunaga. Not sure which chapter, probably the chapters from Vol 21 leading to Vol 24.

I'll probably go back to read those after I'm done with the Vol 24 translation..

Thank you for doing these translations :) I have been looking forward to reading this volume for a long time, but haven't quite expected to see it done so soon!
It surely is a lot of work that goes into translating sensei's story (what with the sleepless nights of researching what the heck she meant by this or that term, I know it myself XD), but it also gives you better understanding of the saga, plus the fandom will always appreciate it :)
I believe there is hardly any other Japanese light novel that would deserve translation as mirage does. Thank you for your hard work ^^

Vol 24, actually starts from ch9, but I zoomed in from ch13 -- the point where Naoe caught up with Takaya -- where it matters most to the all....^__^, and also, that's what I can translate at this point (these few chapters don't have much plot stuff)

MoB can be tough for an amateur, like me. But angst stuff? hey, bring them on ...XD
