Due to my inability to find a job, it seems that my wonderful hiram education left me woefully inadequate when it come to being qualified for anything, i am thinking of picking up a second part time job. This will mean basically no life for me and probably 60-80 hour work weeks... I could also just live at home and only pay the interest off on my ( Read more... )

yeh...hiram only makes us desirable to certain companies and if you don't want to work for them you have to hope you have something else random another company wants, like working for free or very little. as far as what to do...i would recommend living at home, but i may not be the best person to ask. i live at home...though i am only here half the time and even that is stretching it. i live at home to save money and b/c i travel half the time and can't see spending money on rent when i won't use the place i am paying for. if that makes any sense to anyone other than me i will be surprised.

i went back to school... and got a real education. and now i have a full time job down in steubenville. i will let you know if there is any full time gigs down where i will be..

since i do live at home, and finally can quit all my part time gigs. woot.. it feels good to be wanted.. BAM.

enough about me (even though i know what 60-80 hr weeks feel like)

umm...as a person who works 60-80 hour work weeks and does not live at home i will say that i do not hate my life...but it leaves little time for much else. i understand how it feels to get a college education then hafta bust your ass for minimum pay just to make ends meet, not really doing what you want to be doing. anyway don't give up on the job hunt. living at home would not be that bad cause its a lot less money, you don't hafta sign a lease and at least you have a place to get away to in newton falls if you even need a break.
