I'm officially celebrating my 10 year anniversary with DC Comics. In the fall of 1997, I purchased my first DC Comic, JLA #7, and it was pretty awesome. What lead me to this? Many things, I suppose, and as a result, there is a certain respect I've built up for Barry Allen that has gotten me a little annoyed as of late.

Didn't Smallville actually identify their Flash as Bart Allen?

Interesting post in any rate. All I really know about the Flash comes solely from TV and DC Adventures Comics so it's nice to get a little background. Good job!

They did, but they seemed to use the "from the future" thing as a throw away joke line. That's the kind of identity obscurity I'm talking about, because it's just a speedster who could have any origin.

Well, since McDuffie is on JLA, I'll be doing a few more entries on how the current comics compare to the DCAU and so forth.
