Detective #821 and Flash #1 Review

I finally got and read Flash: The Fastest Man Alive #1, the One Year Later Flash title by Danny Bilson and Paul Demeo with art by Ken Lashley. And also, I read Detective Comics #821, the first issue of the Paul Dini/J.H. Williams III run. So, without further ado, spoiler warnings!

I think it's weird how DC Heroes constantly change. I like the cartoon Wally West a lot so I would be bummed if they changed Flashes on the cartoon.

That's one of the good things about cartoons, you know they'll only last for a certain amount of time, and they don't need to really shake things up (unless they want to create a whole new series, like Batman Beyond).

Comics, however, last a really long time, so they feel they need to change things. Flashes seem to last twenty years. Jay Garrick was the Flash in the 40's and 50's, Barry Allen the 60's and 70's, Wally West the 80's and 90's, and now Bart Allen, perhaps. Okay, I know there's some overlap, but you get what I mean.

I think there are plenty of stories with Wally West left to tell, and I still want him back.
