So, August is finally here.  After five years I go back to school this month...leave the working world behind...and leave other things behind.

It's time to be more responsible.  I need to think about my future occupation, about managing my money, and sadly, money comes at a price (or something).

I'm already working on the comic book things, but

I know, I know, it's just I thought I was being responsible before, but it's all sort of blown up in my face, which is disheartening.

Don't worry about the suffering, in another couple months, it might not be as bad as it feels.

Heh, I'm bringing my Batman Beyond figure. I wonder when we'll have that inevitable conversation.

Watching Green Lantern isn't a problem. As I said, I have Netflix, and if I really wanted to, I could just rent it, watch it the day I get it, and send it back the next day. Still...it's a Green Lantern DVD...the first solo GL animation project in over 40 years, and it must be MINE! MINEMINEMINEMINEMINE!

Yeah, but I think it's good that I have to learn a little patience. I'm trying to get a head start on part-time work while I'm at school, I'll see what kind of shape I'm in in September.

There's always some form of rental, too. But I feel you, I've stuck to a budget for the past four years and I've gotten better at predicting it and sticking to it each year.
