Then, slowly, the miserable creature's head is raised, looking at Wesker through a single glassy, yellow eye. His other eye had, unfortunately, been removed to accomodate another tube to be fed into the empty socket. Who knew what purpose it served; all Ramon knew was that is scratched terribly.
There's no real acknowledgement otherwise, outside of the looking up and a few weary blinks. Facial expressions are difficult to read as well since the lower half of Salazar's face was obscured by an oxygen mask of sorts.

There is a brief flutter of fear and panic at the mention of his eventual disposal. Shouldn't death be a reprieve, something to be embraced after all the torment he'd been put through? Maybe even a chance to finally be reunited with Anna? But despite all the aformentioned tempting notions, something sick and terrible still gnawed at his stomach. He didn't want to die. Not yet. And least of all, not like this.
And again, the mention of the rescue. So they hadn't been stopped! At least, not yet. But Wesker apparently was already putting into motion plans and traps to stop them...

He slipped shut his one good eye and sighed softly from behind his oxygen mask. He didn't want to think anymore. He just wanted to...shut off. Or dwell on better things. Si, that would be nice. Maybe just...revisit more pleasant memories...
He remained motionless, the only sound being that of the hum and chirps of the equipment around him.

His depth perception was shot, most certainly, what with now lacking one eye, and getting it to focus did some doing....But there was something there he couldn't identify. In fact, the harder he seemed to try and concentrate on it, the harder it was to distinguish. It was something...ethereal? It almost seemed to glow...it was sort of pleasant to look at, really...But what was it...?
