Ramon sits cross-legged on his bed, elbows propped on either of his knees. He's looking evenly at the pair of ferrets sitting primly in front of him. They're identical in their appearences, sitting positions and expressions. That last one is very hard to read. Mustelid facial expressions. Very subtle.
(
Then Ramon starts to speak to them calmly through the connection they share. )

"Ramon? You in there, babe?"

"Si, I'm in here. Please, come in."

"Am I interrupting?"

He continues to speak to them for a moment.
"So. You're saying you're THREATENING ME, your MASTER? Threatening to tell my secrets that I've asked you to keep if I don't restore your normal shape?"
"We did not Say that. But...We do Think it would be a Fair Exchange. We would Appreciate it Very Much."
"...Right," Ramon replies out-loud before looking to Hips. "Hippolyta, it would seem that these two think they deserve to be changed back into Verdugos now, in exchange for keeping their mouths shut.
"What say you?"

The pair of them glare DEATH at Pointy as he saunters past, but make no motion towards him. It's obvious by the twitching of the blades on their tails and, yeah, the way they're looking at the cat golem in a way that could possibly make plants wither are all good clues.
But they don't. Because they're good, faithful Verdugos.
When Pointy's finally out of sight, they look back to Ramon and Hips and chitter. Ramon smiles and steps towards them so he's standing right in front of them.
"There. Back to normal. I'm glad to see you two back. Now please. Thank Senorita Hollister for being gracious enough to change you into Verdugos again." He gestures a hand back at the woman. The Verdugos seem to consider her for a moment before they both dip into low bows simultaneously. Thanks, Hips, for un-ferreting us.
Ramon looks back at her and smiles, looking remarkably innocent and unaware of her unease. He's eager for her to see that they're being good and aren't going to hurt anyone. Grinning and waiting for her approval.

"So... uh. Okay, dumb questions time. Do they eat? If so, what? If so, where do they go to the bathroom? Do they sleep? If so, where? Um. Anything else I should know? No sudden movements, don't get 'em wet or feed 'em after midnight? What?"

She's really nervous.
"Okay. Courtesy, no need to call the plumber, owl pellets, no killing. Well, don't even worry about that last one. I try not to kill anybody without dinner and a movie, first. Or at least a wave of radioactive fire sweeping over everything. And since the flat lacks a drive plate, I think I'll be okay with the whole 'no killing' rule. Besides, if I really wanted somebody dead, I'd call Wade first. He'd hook me up. Wouldn't even take my money or a screw or anything for it. I don't think he would, anyway. Uh."
Wow. Hello, babbling.

For a woman who was just freaking out about the Hands being Hands again, she sure does sound sure of herself.
"Ramon? Seriously. If he comes back and sees you there, we'll PINpoint out before he can do so much as look at you funny. But you know he won't come back. He's gone. For good. And the sooner you accept that, the happier you'll be."
She hears how harsh that sounds, and she softens her tone a bit. "Listen. Seriously. I know you're still having a hard time with all of this. This is lifetime stuff you're having to shake off here. And I don't expect you to do it overnight or on my say so. But you can't keep living in fear of him, Ramon. You can't. You're better than that. I know you are. I know it. Someday you'll know it too. You can go back to your castle. You can do whatever the hell you want. You don't have to do anything except pay taxes and di-- Hehe. No, you don't even have to do THOSE ( ... )

"I-I-..." He doesn't know what to say to all of that about Lord Saddler being gone for good. He can't face that yet, say it out loud. And they don't KNOW that. Not for sure. "...I just-...I do miss him still. I miss knowing that he's there. Can't face that yet. B-But-..."
He sighs. "Okay. Okay, we'll go back. Just for awhile. Do think it would be alright to bring the Hands? Or do you want them to stay here?" He REALLY doubted she wanted that, but he just thought he'd check. "Oh, and Colmillos and Novistadors? My pets. Colmillos, dogs. Novistadors, bugs." He doesn't bother to mention both are hideous Plaga mutations of both species.

She knows he's still so totally hesitant to completely renounce Saddler. And she's reluctant to push too hard, for fear of shattering this new bond between them. But if she could? She'd reach right into his head and heart and squeeze out every single goddamn MEMORY of that goddamn psychopath. Just wring Ramon out like a washcloth and then try to iron out the wrinkles later.
She takes encouragement from the fact that he's willing to defy Saddler, though. Even on something as petty as this.
Then the pets. Heh. She's almost tempted to say something snarky, then stops herself. Pointy is a weird pet, too.
"We can go tomorrow, love. First thing in the morning, if you want. Best be done quickly, and all that."

He shifts a little bit so that he's sitting in a good enough position that he can plant a small kiss on her cheek. "Interesting thought, but you'll actually only be the second guest in my castle in the past eleven years. Senor Mono gets the honors of being the first to come to my home in that time."
His face falls slightly.
"...I miss Master Vex. So much."
