A Review and a Photo
Okay! So something I've been enjoying lately...
Glee
This is going to come on Tuesdays at 9 on Fox - but I don't know when. I got the pilot for free on iTunes last week and I loved it! It's just the pilot so there's a lot to be improved on, but I was happy with what I saw. First off, awesome singing. That's definitely the biggest appeal for me. The character Rachel is played by Lea Michele - which totally delighted me, because I was lucky enough to see her as Wendla in "Spring Awakening". At first it seemed a little High School Musical-esque, with the quarterback of the football joining glee club because he loves singing and football. But hey, it's a usual device and was only in the pilot, so I'm happy with that. There's no real character development yet, everyone was still just their quirk (if that makes sense). Anyway! I'd recommend this, and I'm definitely looking forward to more. (And I already downloaded the version they sang of "Don't Stop Believin'".)
Also, I've been going a little photo-crazy. For some reason, I've accumulated quite a few photo albums (people give them to me as gifts), so I decided to go ahead and print out a lot of pictures I had and put them in. Hee. I found a lot of good ones! I took a lot from my birthday, and I had a lot of random ones, too, because I never clear out my camera card. Hee. This is one of my favorite ones - me and my current boyfriend.
I'm also in a creative writing class this summer, so I've started writing original fiction again! Well... Okay, I have two story beginnings and a poem. Heh. I'll probably post them here after I turn them in. Yay! (It's a poem about Icarus, and then another story about Jack and Robin.)
Also! One final thing. I love fan-fics obviously; here's one HIGH-LARIOUS fic I found. It's called Of Love and Bunnies by CrazyGirl47 on ff.net. It's a Power Rangers fic, but don't let that throw you off. If you ever watched/liked Power Rangers, then I'd definitely recommend this. Hee. It's 102 chapters, so it's probably best to separate it into several readings. But I totally think it's worth it.
