I always wanted to make this blog interesting, but it isn't really at all -___-;;
Lately I have been posting lots of links - does anyone read them?
Either way, I'll still post them ^_^ Maybe it's just interesting to me...

Gabriel's Horn - a mathematical paradox concerning objects of revolution... I wish someone had mentioned it when I was studying ( Read more... )

I read about 1/3, sometimes more of the links

seldom check out the deviantartists unless you say something is really exceptional, and not so often on the music things unless seems intersting?

if you ask nicely Kat might lend you her bass for a week
- sounds AWESOME and is easy.. took me about 40min to try figure how to play U2, With or Without You - I could do all the fingering and timing and even get the right sound, only 1 single change of note in the song was too fast for me and I tended to miss it
Then things like purple on the water etc are all cool, all oasis songs, etc?
Thing is, if u learn guitar, u can play bass, if u learn bass.. you need to learn more to play guitar

or I have a keyboard I can lend you

uriel is awesome, thought he was archangel though?
I read a description of him as heaven's wetworks man :)
(err, if you don't know what I mean let me know XD )
was in reference to soddom and gamora and a couple of other events

1) I know nothing about guitar/base... I don't even know how to tune it.
2)Lame songs! Lame songs!
3)I'd prefer to learn guitar ^_^
4)Um... we have a big piano in our house already - you've never seen it? It's right near the front door. I played paino for about eight years.
5)Angel, archangel, it's all the same.
6)I have no idea what you mean.
7)Gamora? You and your bible knowldege...

:)

I know! Too many interests, not enough tiiiiime (or skill >_<)
Like, if I were in a band... I'd want to play every genre of music possible, try composing, try lyrics writing, dress in every style I could and design and sew costumes, design the album packaging and draw the album art, make plushie merchandise........ and all the while I'd be drawing a webcomic of the whole thing. And then if that got published, I'd using my published credentials to write a novel....
XD
Instead... I do none of those things TT_TT;;;
Ah, slackery and fear of failure =P

Does that make Scientology a bad trip? (Rather than the result of Ron L Hubbard's cynicism about human stupidity taken to extremes for profit).

Links: Intermittently, but certainly. The article you referenced on Gabriel's Horn is fascinating, for example. For some reason it also cries out "one day, this will be involved in the creation of a hyperdrive" - but that may just be my odd brain.

soddom and gamora - uhh, think fire and brimstone, cities go byebye
in fact.. I think it might be soddom that Loki is talking about in Dogma.. of course in the movie Loki takes credit?

wetwork's person, man, hand whatever; is basically a group that rules are suspended for.. so .. if the UN have a group of assassins that they use to get rid of politically expedient people, or to kill presidents before they say yes to nuclear strikes or somesuch.. they cannot actually ratify this as an organisation, or the Australia cannot as a government.. but someone doing it for us it our wetworks person..
*sigh*
very very bad explanation

bass, not base - yes they're not great songs but music wise they 'do' have great bass lines and are good to learn
guitar never interested me as much..
shrug, play piano or keys in a band, once you are jamming about start learning other instruments

Actually, I know a bit about Soddom - it came up as an argument in queer forum debates a bit ^.^;; And yep, Loki totally takes credit for that XD

I get it, I get it. Wetworks person does the dirty work that you can't be seen doing.

lol, whoops, yes, bass (like the fish!!).
Bass never really interested me that much - and it's difficult for me to hear it in music (it's difficult for me to hear most instruments in music, actually, I'm really bad). But sounds kinda boring. And with guitar, there's so much you can do style-wise and solo and acoustic/electric....
(Plus, Teru plays guitar ♥ >____<)
Lololol you think I jam? LOL.
I can barely play solo, let alone in front of people, let along with people. And I have no rhythm - I can't play anything that's even remotely ad-lib or jazzy, lolol. The result of a strict Catholic piano teacher =P
And, and, and, only prodigies really natural musicians can just take up a random instrument like that - it takes a *lot* of work to learn to play an instrument. That's why so many people take them up and ( ... )

ha ha XD Scientology is more like the come-down =P (I guess I'm dumb for making the connection: Latter Day Saint = LDS = LSD >_<;;;)

^_^
Actually, I think they debunked/explained the paradox near the end of the article - it was to do with counting the outside in 2D and the then counting inside in 3D...
