I have been following certain news from Japan ever since I started following certain actors and dramas. I have had plans of going there but after this, and the other news from their country, I decided to stay where I am and only go there if I really must. The xenophobia in this country is astounding. They still have a long way to go before foreigners could actually feel safe going there and maybe even pursue a life there.

Also I know this was in 2014 but I came across it just today. If you still check your LJ, I hope you have a good day.
