There's a groaning shriek from above and without pausing, the silver-haired man brings his rifle up and blasts a zombie seemingly falling from the sky. ]

[ Blurr's aim has suddenly improved, apparently! He's also retreating further himself, to stand back to back with his superior, since that's really the safest option right now. A few of the slower zombies are dropped, and then he glances back, spinning for a moment to take down one of the faster ones that's getting a little too close for comfort. ]
Illogical doesn't even start to cover it, are these really the living dead? I thought I was hallucinating or something--
[ Which probably explains his previous lack of aim. ]

[ He brings up his rifle again and fires, blowing apart several more, and when a faster zombie lands almost on top of him, too close for his gun -
-he just punches it. Repeatedly. The trauma is apparently too much for it to handle, and that gives him enough time to shoot it. ]
We should really find cover.

Right you are! Come on, this way!
[ He darts forward. He's fast, but also might be running just a little slower than he's capable of -- it would be best if they stuck together, after all. They knew each other, and wherever they were, it was dangerous and didn't make any sense. ]
There should be a few buildings that are clear, anyway, and if there aren't any we can empty one ourselves!
