[ There's a tall man with a large black case in his hand, looking at all of the destruction with a somewhat baffled look on his face. This is not the afterlife he was expecting]

...kind of a dump. Suppose I shouldn't really complain, though.

[A girl was wandering around the deserted place as well. She had no clue what any of these places are, still getting used to infinity's ever changing scenes. It was like she was in a ghost town, she shuttered slightly having the feeling of desertion come over. She spots him from afar and a wave of relief settles in.]

H-hey! Hello?

[for_a_song]

[He turns, hearing the voice, and waves back, somewhat relived to see another person amid all of this destruction.]

Hey! ...I don't suppose you could tell me where I am? I think I've gotten lost, somehow.

[dollfreckles]

Sorry I can't help ya. I'm just as lost, too. The world just... suddenly became like this. An' I have no clue where I am.

[She approaches him, glad that he's human. She saw a few ...odd things out there that she'd rather sneak around from. She gulped and looked up at him.]

Could I stay with you mister? Promise I won't bother ya.

No? That's okay. I'm sure someone around here will know something... assuming there is anyone else, of course.

[He gives her a somewhat baffled look, but shrugs]

If you want. I've got no objections.

Why wouldn't you complain? I mean, aside from the fact that no one around here seems capable of doing anything useful.

[ There's a woman in a torn scarlet dress, hauling a gun in one hand and removing a chunk of mutant flesh off one heeled shoe by scraping it against a chunk of loose debris. She glances up at him halfway through her endeavor, not looking pleased about their surroundings, either. ]

Well, I should be dead, so anything is better than that. Even if this place is a total wreck.

Getting chased by mutant creatures inside the wreckage of a city gone mad is NOT my idea of "better than dead".

I don't know... it doesn't see so bad. The decor could use a little work, and the natives seem a little unfriendly, but it's not freezing, and no one's actively shooting at me.
