Conflict is: wanting to go back 25 years in time to experience a fantastic decade of experimental synth bliss and assorted old skool attributes, but simultaneously want to skip some 50-100 years forward just to have even a semi-realistic chance of some day being able to fly an intergalactic space ship.

true, but it wouldn't be the same thing :P I love the small imperfections of the past, it makes it so authentic. Like that crackling and scratching sound of a vinyl record...<3
