I was too busy during the Super Bowl tending to my friends dog who had his legs run over by a drunk guy in a truck so I missed this commercial:

I am sick with sadness but also see a little bit of beauty that is in this story.

I have a new Japanese roommate named Emi and we get along famously. She is very cool and we have a lot of laughs together. Her friend Noriko is also a blast and so I thought to post a picture of these fun girls in my life. My grandma Bernice just turned 95 a couple of weeks ago and in celebration of her special day we surprised her with a Hawaiian themed dinner with her family and closest friends.
