Teja stands in the warm sand, and looks around.

"All these structures," he then says, wonderingly, "like the love children of railways and unraveled wool, are roller-coasters?"

"Oh, yes indeed." She grins at him. "And we will go all the way up there, then dive down, and around, banking wildly left and right."

"Can we just go, or do we have to wait in line?" Teja asks, still looking around.

"I... might be able to skip ahead with you." The Devil tugs him along, to the nearest gates. "They're just opening for the day."
