Things your left hand cannot reach while the left shoulder is strapped:
No. 1. Your Face.

Places both your left hand AND right hand cannot reach while your left shoulder is strapped:
Most of your right arm including under your right arm.

Getting clean is FUN folks! And involves physics of a high order.

Could you reach under that "strapping" with a longish brush? If so, try using a "washing up brush" with a washcloth bound around it.
Works, with some patience and tolerance for dripping and stuff ;-).

Unfortunately the main problem isn't that I can't reach under the strapping as such. It's that I can't move my left shoulder forward at all. What the Physio does is to sit me up straight with my shoulders back and then immobilise the shoulder with clever tape so that I can move it backwards, but not forwards or hunch up at all. Neither can I reach forward or lift my arm upward to the front. When you reach across your front with your shoulder stuck back I find I can't touch anything further over than my right collarbone.

Ah, I see... Sucks, really.

No idea. Do you have a flexible shower head at all? You could probably try putting plastic bags over your straps and aim that towards the other side....?

I really feel for you - and would certainly come to the rescue if you were anywhere near.
My ex was once bandaged firmly on one whole side of him and the unwrapping after a week was not all too pleasant ;-).
(Even if I indeed covered that side in plastic and showered off the rest of the guy frequently.)

At the moment I'm managing by sitting in the bath (thank goodness for a flat with baths) and using a washcloth.

But I can take it off tonight. Woo yeah! Strapping not to be worn for more than 3 days. Muscles waste away.

Well ya know, there would be bubbles and I could lean forward and shield a goodly part of my boobs and then you could get to work. I could manage that.

Tell Kim she knows me better than that! Or at least to feed me red wine first.
