So, let me get this straight. You have a job that you're good at and that you like doing, with acquaintances whose company is enjoyable, and you are now living above a pub.

YOU, MY FRIEND, ARE LIVING THE GODDAMN BATMAN DREAM!

That aside, do they give you a discount in the pub? I think they should; you're practically a captive audience!

My one other hope that would (I believe) make your life perfect is that the pub has free, unlimited wireless internet access. :D

Sounds like you've got it good. Have fun making Irish mud pies...

Pub does indeed have wifi. I'm currently surfing with beer. In front of an open fire. Huzzah!

So you've got an extra living room with serving staff and unlimited amounts of food and beverage? WANT! When can I come to visit :D

Yuhuh, pretty much.

You could have flown over to stay, but you decided to move miles away to a random place that has hurricanes. So no sympathy for you!

Well, above a pub sounds great if there is proper sound proofing. Otherwise sleeping while pub is open could be a problem. Though, if you plan to be in the pub while it is open, there should be no problem :P

Pub is reasonably quiet. We shall test the soundproofing when I move in. I intend to be drinking in the pub pretty much constantly however.
