I did not votre for THAT!!!

But that's ok. As I did vote I now have the unalienable right to grumble heartily for the next however long.

I wonder if I should set up as a satirical left-wing comedian? There's always plenty of material during Tory times.

They agreed to give you a new voting system, didn't they?

But that left-wing comedian idea sound like fun.

They've *pretended* to give us a new voting system - what'll actually happen is that there's be a debate about it, lots of to-ing and fro-ing, and then things'll go on exactly as before, because the Tories do NOT want a change in the voting system, not when it favours them as it just has.

You did vote for a seat in a parliament though

What they do after that is largely up to them.

Bah. Also pah and grumph.

But yes, you may be right. Anyway - you live in Toryland. You can't talk.

I never get what I vote for. Let alone what I actually want (due to human rights act, etc).

On a separate point:
Not enough women in parliament. Is this because the parties are sexist or because the electorate is? Discuss.

I voted for "Not Labour".

So I got it, but it was touch and go for a while.

I said about the same thing after the last Bundestag elections in Germany. So whatever your government is going to do in the next years, at least it's not your fault :D
