The first batch of batter is mine and you're covered in flour. [She hopes the rest of the kitchen doesn't end up matching Lily's apron, since she doesn't have her wand yet, either.]

[Laughs.] Right, first batch is yours. And the flour was with the struggle with the box. [Yeah, it looks like it had to be cut open with a knife after trying to tear it open. You know how stubborn some packaging can be.] Already cleaned off the counter, but it's not as easy with cloth.

You know- [She pauses to eat a neat bite of waffle - and it's actually pretty good] -we're going to need to find our wands. Cleaning with a cloth means I have to touch whatever is being cleaned.

I can help you clean up the mess today. It is a bit more than I originally planned.

[Did you know that little fairies loooove waffles~? Well, he's a little fairy child (9 years old and only 15 cm tall) flying in through the kitchen window the moment he hears there are waffles! He'll flitter excitedly round and round her.]

Waffles~!! Where are they? Are they done yet? It smells good! Can I have some? Can I? Can I?

[Looks at the little fairy and laughs a bit at the excitement.] Well, one's done. Can you eat more than that?

[Points to a waffle on a plate.] Well, that's the one done. The other waffle will take a minute.

I suppose cooking it all is one way to get rid of it. There seem to be a lot of people who jump at the thought of free food.

It does seem so. It's kind of fun though.

[She's looking bleary-eyed as she wanders in. Hey, she's not a morning person, okay? She just followed her nose. At least she has her clothes back now, so she looks even more like a punk than she did yesterday.]

I heard there were waffles on offer.

Got it in one. How is it that younger people never seem to have a problem, but older people always insist on Nymphadora? It's like a plague or something.

[She grins as she shakes her head, as though to bemoan the older generation's lack of courtesy.]

Anyway, hope I didn't miss out. Got any with blueberries? Or the chocolate chips are good, too...

They want to sound more formal, I think. Though Nymphadora is pretty too.

[Smiles and turns back to the pancakes.]

This batch is blueberries. Figured people would want some. Got a few cooked already.
