fucking red wings got fucking ELIMINATED. and playoff games are like the highlight of my springtime :( now instead of having wings games to look forward to, i only have Game of Thrones, and that only happens once a week :( i'm so mad i could just slap Jack Gleeson!

yeah like WHAT THE FUCK. i'm afraid the wings are entering another slump. they probably are. we won the cup in 97 and 98 but then not again until 2002, but that wasn't as bad a slump as 2002-2008 when we kept having first and second round exits. it's happening again :( we've had the same GM forever and he just seems to think "well, our formula works eventually, so I'll just stick with it and we'll win the Cup again at some point." the problem is our best defenseman is nearing retirement age and we're not going to be as good without him if the fucking GM doesn't plan ahead. i wish this was a democratic process, like we could vote out all the players who CLEARLY suck, and make them go dig ditches in Greenland or something. or play for the Toronto Maple Leafs -- same thing. ;)
