YEEEEES!!!!!!!!! Oh man, I felt like I was on the edge of my seat for this entire chapter!!! When Arthur sent him the text telling him he was coming whether Eames wanted him to or not, I did a literal fist punch in the air! I'm so glad Arthur is being so...well ARTHUR about this, that he took it upon himself to figure shit out, that he was relieved there was a REASON Eames was acting so weird (even if he doesn't know the real reason...yet?)

I felt so bad for Eames though, I just wanted to hug him for the majority of this...poor poor Eames...and for no good reason at all... :(

I can't WAIT for the next installment!! I ASSUME THERE WILL BE ASS-KICKING!!

Finally! Arthur's going to kill that guy when he gets the whole story. Also, I wonder if it would take him much to realize that Eames isn't angry with him so much as scared shitless of him.

Damn, I was waiting for this all day, hoping you'd update and checking your journal a truly embarrassing number of times... I'm afraid I've become a tiny bit obsessed. Anyway, you didn't disappoint; I love this chapter. The aspect of Eames being surprised that Arthur cares enough to look into this mess is interesting, because, well, of course Arthur would do that, why wouldn't he? I think it does Eames good that he gets some extra kindness and care at this point. My heart aches for him, trying to keep up the front for Arthur and then having that wall crack and possibly, eventually, crash completely.

Thanks for the update, I'm looking forward to the next chapter!
