NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! This chapter BROKE MY HEART!!!!! oh god they are both killing me--I feel so bad for Arthur, because he was actually TRYING, and he can't possibly begin to understand what's wrong with Eames, and EAMES oh god, just losing it, and being so afraid of Arthur, and still, somewhere, wanting him--probably that more then anything, Eames mourning the loss of what could have been, what he had worked to hard to get for so many years, and now to have it taken from him...oh god!!

I really hope you find some way for them to be together or else my heart will remain in tiny pieces on the floor :(

Yaaay thank you so much for such a long, detailed comment! I so appreciate hearing what you thought! I definitely see Eames as totally conflicted, and really MISSING Arthur even while he's scared/angry, so I'm glad that came through. And, while there is more angst in the next few chapters, it will have a happy ending. :) Thanks again!

*weeping* So my heart is pretty much shattered now. I really want Arthur to stealthly figure things out like the ninja he is and make his Inception BAMFery look like a trip to the petting zoo.
The saving grace in this hurty update is that at least Eames is getting angry. (He is hitting the stages of grief, denial, barginning etc.)Here's to InControlofhislife!Eames so he can put Victim!Eames to rest.
