Oh, this is lovely! Wonderful cat.

Cat didn’t know what kind of human he was, but no sane person would wear a wig like that on a daily basis. Was he crazy or something?

I like it like this. Makes me feel like a man.

The suits were his only way to stay ahead in the fashion competition he was always in. If another cat came along, Cat would be sure he was the most fashionable in the room.

I think this is my favourite bit. It just seems so right for the Cat.
I'd love to see Waiting for God, for Cat's pov...*cough*

Thank you!

Cat's always in a fashion competition. He may not know who'll come along, but he does his best to stay ahead. ;)

I'm planning to go through the entire series with the Cat's POV. I'll start jumping around with the prompts a bit, but when I've got more of 'em I'll put up a table of contents. The length of the pieces will vary, depending on the episode and the prompt, but I'm hoping to have a minimum of 500 words per piece. There might be slash, but no guarantees. For now I'm just going to keep writing and see how it goes. ^_^

Cat's awesome. I may like Rimmer better, but Cat still rocks. Thanks!

Great! I understand Cat a lot better since I've had cats of my own. You're exactly right about how he'd assume the human left fishy treats out obviously for him. It's correct that he only thinks of them as "the humans"--I'm sure that's how my cats think of me! You don't attack the cat and you don't mess up his meticulous grooming. Cattitude!

Do you have cats?

Yes, I have cats. Three toms. Moaterboat, (I named him when I was a lot younger) Harvey, (My brother named him) and Post Master. (My brother named him) My family has had cats since before I was born, so I've grown up with the adorable buggers. I taught myself to read with Garfield comics.

I think by now I should have some idea of how they think.

(And then I can also pull out the RD episodes and rewatch all of the Cat moments before I write. *g*)

Thanks!

Post Master! I love it!

I grew up with dogs, so Dory and Nigel (my cats) certainly educated me that no, cat ways are in no way like dog ways! Makes me think Danny John-Jules did a bit of cat-study for his role, too!

I'd bet that Danny John-Jules owns cats. Or lived with them. Or something.

Dogs are nice, but I've found that I prefer cats. You don't have to walk them. Still. I do like dogs. They're good companions. I just don't have the right mindset for dogs. Go figure. ;)
