I'm curious to see who they cast as Bella, last I heard there were talks of this actress whose name I don't recall, but I remember her from the movie "Charlotte Gray", with Cate Blanchett. Not at all like the Bella I had in mind, hope it was just a rumor.

I was so disappointed, too. That whole scene was off. I had three of my friends and I DRESS UP as Bellatrix (me! ^_^), Rodolphus, Rabastan, and Barty, and all but one of us were definitely gypped.
That girl must have been Alecto Carrows. Alecto is the only other mentioned female, and she was never imprisoned. She had reddish hair (although she did have dark, heavy eye makeup suggestive of Bellatrix's "heavy-hooded eyelids"), too, which doesn't apply to Bellatrix.
. . . though, then again, as tati_br pointed out, since when have they ever felt the need to stick to any canon details as "inconsequential" as that. I mean, Bartemius Crouch, Jr. was definitely described as having straw-colored hair and freckles. That certainly didn't happen . . .
Hehehehe the dress up thing is soooooo awesome! The only one I could be is Narcissa. :/ Or a very busty Lucius. ;) A friend and I are just wearing our Slytherin ties and scarves, as well as a Death Eaters t-shirt I got from Hot Topic.
Dude, they had a pensieve scene and they SKIPPED the Lestranges?!! Grrr!!!!!
The change of directors constantly hasn't helped either. Draco, for example, went from being a dark and brooding god in Chamber of Secrets to a sobbing, squealing infant in Prisoner of Azkaban [excepting, of course, that marvelous scene in with him blowing the paper crane to Harry].
....Oh well, it's not like I've been waiting for years upon years since I read that bloody gorgeous scene in the book to see it done on screen! 8( I just had assumed they'd cut it out entirely.
At least Lucius is in it. Thank the gods for Jason Isaacs' persistent love for his sexy bastard of a character. <3

And ditto on Severus and Bellatrix as a couple. Esp. given his rise in status in the most recent book. I've always thought they would be sooo sexy.
